Part-Time Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA)
Passionate About Acupuncture? We Have the Patients Waiting.
Healing Arts Animal Care is looking for a part-time Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) to join our small but mighty integrative team.
Our primary rehabilitation veterinarian currently sees 70–75 acupuncture appointments each month, and demand continues to grow. Healing Arts Animal Care is a thriving, independently owned practice known for its commitment to whole-patient wellness. We blend Western medicine with acupuncture, rehabilitation, chiropractic, and naturopathic therapies to help pets live healthier, happier lives. Located in beautiful Beaverton, Oregon, we've built an exceptional clientele who value compassionate, individualized care.

The Vibe
We're looking for a veterinarian who wants to build a professional home and become part of a collaborative team that truly values integrative medicine.
We are independently owned and relationship-driven. Decisions are made by the people caring for our patients—not by a corporate office.
We believe in thoughtful medicine over production metrics and long-term patient outcomes over quick fixes.
We practice evidence-based medicine while embracing the tremendous value acupuncture and TCVM bring to our patients.
We value curiosity, lifelong learning, and veterinarians who enjoy discussing cases, sharing ideas, and continuing to grow.
We hire people who take ownership of their medicine, communicate well with clients and teammates, and genuinely enjoy helping animals live better lives.
We love protocols—but we also recognize that every patient deserves individualized care.
This position is ideal for someone looking to practice acupuncture in a supportive environment where integrative medicine isn't an afterthought—it's who we are.
The Position
Part-time (2–3 days per week, flexible scheduling)
Established acupuncture caseload from day one
Competitive compensation based on experience
CE allowance available
Employee discounts and pet care perks
Opportunity to grow the acupuncture service as demand continues to increase
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to focus on what you love.
Practice acupuncture and TCVM with clients who actively seek integrative care.
Collaborate closely with our rehabilitation team to create comprehensive treatment plans.
Help improve quality of life for geriatric patients, neurologic cases, orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and sports medicine patients.
Build lasting relationships with dedicated pet owners who value acupuncture and are committed to their pets' long-term wellness.
Practice alongside experienced rehabilitation technicians and an integrative team that genuinely enjoys working together.
Low Stress Certified Team
We are Low Stress Handling Certified, and it shows. Clients frequently tell us, "My dog drags me through your front door!"
We maintain close relationships with referring veterinarians, surgeons, neurologists, and specialists throughout the Portland area and are proud to be considered a trusted resource for integrative care.
We're a no-drama, ego-free clinic full of unicorns who work hard, laugh often, support one another, and genuinely enjoy coming to work.
We believe that great medicine starts with a healthy team culture.
