Thistle Veterinary Clinic – Opening summer 2026 in Seattle, WA (Near Seattle Center)

Part time - 2 days a week

Thistle Veterinary Clinic is a brand new, privately owned small animal general practice clinic focused on building long-term relationships and providing thoughtful, individualized care to every pet and family we serve.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  Anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures

  Triage phone calls and 

  Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection

  Obtain radiographs and assist with patient diagnostics

  Prepare and administer medications as directed

  Provide client education and discharge instructions

  Maintain accurate medical records

  Help support efficient daily workflow alongside the doctor and assistant

  Assist with general patient care and treatment area organization as needed

  Triage client questions via phone and email, providing appropriate guidance and directing medical concerns to the veterinarian as needed

Qualifications: 

  Active Washington State LVT license

  Comfortable with anesthesia and routine procedures

  Strong technical and patient-handling skills

  Clear communicator with both clients and team

  Adaptable and team-oriented mindset

  Willingness to pitch in where needed

Compensation & Benefits

  $30–$35/hour, depending on experience
