Associate Veterinarian - Family Pet Animal Hospital | Chicago, ILFamily Pet Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Chicago’s vibrant Lincoln Park neighborhood. We’re seeking an experienced small animal veterinarian who is confident in general practice, enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, and is looking for a long-term home where they can make a meaningful impact on patients, clients, and the community.

We’re seeking an experienced small animal veterinarian who is comfortable performing surgery and dentistry and is interested in utilizing and expanding those skills. Family Pet currently performs routine procedures including spays, neuters, and small mass removals, and we would welcome a doctor who is confident with these procedures and potentially interested in taking on more advanced surgical cases as their interests and comfort level allow.
You’ll be someone who takes pride in practicing high-quality medicine, enjoys building relationships with clients, and is willing to jump in and support your teammates when challenges arise.

Our progressive compensation model includes competitive base salaries with production compensation opportunities - plus, no negative accrual.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $125,000 - $160,000/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Your Experience & Skills
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
