Company Overview
Puget Sound Veterinary Group is a mixed animal practice located in Mount Vernon WA in the beautiful Skagit Valley. It was established in 2006 and is privately owned by Scott and Jacquelyn Waltner. We focus on farm animals and companion animals, with a comfortable dose of exotics.
Company History
Started in 2006 by the merging of two practices - a thriving mobile camelid practice and an established Large Animal practice - Puget Sound Veterinary Group was formed and operated from the Waltner's home. Initially the practice was ambulatory only, but it rapidly became apparent that a haul-in facility was needed. In 2007 a small ICU and surgical facility was built at the home of Scott and Jackie to accomodate the needs of the practice. By 2009 business had expanded to the point that a proper store front was acquired and remodeled to fit the practices needs, which included the offering companion animal services to our Large Animal clientele and their friends and family. The practice has a strong history of growth through personal word of mouth and referral and we continue to grow.
