The dermatology team at Apex is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team starting in October 2026.

You don't need to be a dermatology expert to thrive here. Specialty dermatology is unique, and we expect to teach you the medicine. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Veterinary Technician Credential (RVT/CVT/LVT) [REQUIRED]
• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary technician experience (specialty experience is a plus, but not required)
• Skilled in patient restraint using Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques
• Proficiency in peripheral venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection
• Experience with cytology preparation and microscope use.
• Knowledge of dermatology diagnostics, including intradermal allergy testing (preferred)
• General anesthesia and sedation monitoring experience
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control
• Experience with electronic medical records and accurate medical documentation.
• Excellent client communication and education skills
• Commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and exceptional patient care

The salary for this position begins at $26+ per hr and is adjusted based on an applicant's skills, background, and previous work experience.
