Gypsum Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About You
As an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative, you are the first and last point of contact for our clients and play a vital role in ensuring smooth hospital operations. You understand the pace and complexity of veterinary medicine and are comfortable balancing client needs, medical team communication, scheduling, and financial processes with professionalism and empathy.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 year's experience as a Veterinary Client Service Representative or in similar veterinary front desk role required
- Strong understanding of veterinary hosptial workflows and terminology
- Proven ability to manage high call volumes, scheduling, estimates, and financial transactions
- Great communication skills with the ability to de-escalate stressful or emotional client situations
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Desire to practice empathetic, gold standard medicine benefiting our patients
- Are paw-sitive, kind and provide trustworthy communication to the patients, team members and clients
- Proficiency with veterinary practice management software
- Must be able to work rotating weekends and certain holidays
- Have the desire to constantly grow and advance as a valued member
Role Responsibilities:
- Help strengthen relationships with our clients by greeting them and their pet
- Efficiently onboard clients by completing registrations, verifying information, and clearly communicating anticipated wait times and hospital processes
- Educate clients and answer non-medical inquiries
- Manage high-volume inbound and outbound communications, including phone calls, emails, text messages, and faxes, ensuring timely, accurate follow-up and message documentation
- Schedule appointments, including in-office diagnostics and communicate with referring hospital staff to access patient records
- Create and manage appointment reminders, confirmations, and rescheduling to support an optimal hospital flow and client compliance
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client and patient records within the practice management system, verifying patient information at every visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and exam rooms
- Ensure financial responsibilities are met. Review invoices for accuracy, communicate charges clearly to clients, collect payments, and reconcile cash drawer totals with computer-generated reports
- Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $19-23/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
