We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician to become part of our friendly and passionate team. If you're looking for a supportive work environment where patient care and teamwork come first, we'd love to hear from you!

Position Details:

• Full-time (4- 10 hour shifts)
• Saturdays required
• Experience with exotics is a plus, but not required
• Must be dependable, skilled, and client-focused

Job Duties Include:

• Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgeries
• Performing venipuncture, catheter placement, and administering medications
• Monitoring anesthesia and patient vitals during surgical procedures
• Taking digital radiographs (including dental and exotic species, if applicable)
• Conducting in-house laboratory tests (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecals, etc.)
• Providing nursing care and post-operative monitoring
• Client education on pet care, medications, and follow-up instructions
• Maintaining accurate patient records in the medical software system
• Handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $24 - $30 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
