We are a privately owned, full-service primary care clinic with a focus on preventive medicine and dentistry. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8a-5:30p and Saturday from 8a-12p. We value client education and good medicine over the high volume models of corporate veterinary practices. The clinic is closed on Sunday and there are no overnight or on-call shifts. We consider the work life balance extremely important. Students are encouraged to apply and we look forward to the opportunity to offer mentorship. Palmetto Animal Clinic offers competitive full-time salaries depending on experience ranging from $100,000-$150,000 with production based bonuses. Part time associates are welcome to apply and salary will vary depending on the desired scheduled. Additional benefits also include but are not limited to $30,000 retention bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, C.E. stipend, licensing fees, and retirement plan contribution. 

Requirements

Must have DVM and be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Florida. Any experience level is considered. Full time applicants are preferred, but part-time and seasonal applicants are also encouraged to apply. Applicant should be comfortable and knowledgeable about preventive care for cats and dogs and be comfortable with general surgical and dental procedures. We are a medicine heavy practice that routinely diagnoses, treats, and manages chronic illness in cats and dogs. We understand student applicants may need additional training and mentorship and look forward to providing this.
