Schedule & Lifestyle
Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Hospital hours: Monday–Friday 8am–6pm; Saturday 8am–12pm

Requirements
DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited veterinary program
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Georgia; license must be in good standing
DEA registration (or ability to obtain) and ability to prescribe controlled substances as required by law
Ability to deliver high-quality medical care, including:
- Comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic workups
- Development and communication of treatment plans
- Preventive care (wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention)
- Medical case management and follow-up
- Accurate, timely medical record documentation
Ability to perform routine small animal procedures and surgery appropriate to a general practice setting (soft-tissue surgery and anesthesia management)
Strong client communication skills with a compassionate, service-oriented approach
Ability to work effectively with a team (technicians, assistants, CSRs) in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of small animal GP experience (new graduates encouraged to apply with mentorship available)
Dentistry experience (dental radiographs and extractions)
Proficiency with common in-house diagnostics (CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology) and imaging interpretation (radiographs; ultrasound a plus)
Interest in continual learning, evidence-based medicine, and quality improvement
Physical/Work Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with patient care (lifting, restraining, positioning patients as needed)
Ability to safely work around animals, medical equipment, and controlled substances in accordance with clinic protocols and Georgia regulations
